How do I add a cafe to a list?
When viewing a cafe page, tap the List icon to choose an existing list or create a new one. You can manage your lists from your home page and share them from your public profile.

How do I add a new cafe?
If your favorite cafe is not listed yet, click Add a cafe and fill in the basics such as name, address, and opening hours. You can also include Wi-Fi speed, plug availability, and laptop policy to help others decide if it is a good work spot.
What does it mean to "check in" to a cafe?
A check-in is a lightweight way to say "I'm here" or "I was here". It is perfect when you do not feel like writing a full review, but still want to share or recommend a cafe.
Your check-ins also build a personal history on your profile. Later on, this can help you (and your friends) see which cafes people actually visit.
In koffiework, a check-in stays active for 24 hours. If you checked in by accident, you can check out to undo it.

In general, we look for cafes that show care in the cup, for example single-origin options, light-to-medium roast choices, and often filter coffee. What is available depends on the city and country, and in many places these options are still hard to find, which is exactly why koffiework exists.
How can I tell if laptops are allowed?
Each cafe listing mentions its laptop policy. Some cafes allow laptops only on weekdays or at certain tables, and we include those details so you know what to expect before visiting.
Do cafes ever discourage laptop use?
Yes, some cafes prioritise a relaxed, social environment and may limit laptop use during busy hours or weekends. We always include those details so you can pick the right spot for your plans.
What if a cafe changes its laptop policy?

How do following and Activity work?
You can follow public profiles whose cafe taste you trust. Your Activity feed shows your own cafe activity and eligible public activity from people you follow, such as reviews, check-ins, and added cafes. Follower and following counts can appear on public profiles, while your personal Activity feed is only available when you are signed in.
How do I report, mute, or block someone?
Use the report action on public profiles, reviews, photos, lists, or cafe pages when something looks abusive, unsafe, spammy, or incorrect. You can mute activity from a person without unfollowing them, or block a user to remove follow relationships and hide their activity from your signed-in experience. How does koffiework handle spam or inaccurate submissions?
We review reports from the community, cross-check details, and can remove or hide content that violates our standards. Suspicious entries are flagged for manual moderation.
